Welcome to 5th Grade Science
This year you will explore Space, determine relationships between human populations, environment and Natural Hazards found here on Earth, design and build Simple Machines with the understanding of Motion and Force, analyze Properties of Matter, and identify how the Human Body works by investigating 3 of the 9 body systems.
In Science you will build your knowledge through the Inquiry Process and Investigations. Your role as a Scientist will assist you in making advances in technology and understand that science is an ongoing process that changes in response to new information and discoveries.
